Overview
ImgTool is a client‑side image utility. Conversion, resizing, and cropping are performed locally in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. We do not upload or transmit your images to any server during normal use.
What data we process
- Images: Loaded images are processed in memory within your browser tab and are not uploaded.
- Temporary URLs: For previews and downloads, the app may create temporary object URLs that live only in your browser session.
- Metadata: When exporting via canvas, common metadata (e.g., EXIF/GPS) is typically stripped.
Cookies and third‑party services
This site may display advertising provided by Google AdSense. AdSense and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads.
- Learn more: Google Ads policies
- How Google uses data from partners: Partner Sites
- Manage ad personalization: Ads Settings
Aside from ads, ImgTool itself does not set tracking cookies.
Server and CDN logs
ImgTool is a static website. Our hosting platform and CDN providers may log standard request information (e.g., IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security, reliability, and performance purposes. We do not use these logs for profiling individual users.
Libraries and CDNs
The site may load third‑party libraries (e.g., Cropper.js, GIF encoder) from CDNs. These providers may collect standard access logs when your browser fetches the files.
Data retention
We do not store your images or personal data on our servers. Third‑party providers (such as Google for ads delivery) may retain data under their own policies.
Your choices
- Use your browser settings to clear cookies and site data.
- Adjust Google ad personalization via Ads Settings.
- Use content blockers if you prefer to limit third‑party requests.
Children’s privacy
ImgTool is intended for a general audience and not directed at children under the age of 13.
